We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Production Assistant to join our team and help bring our delicious creations to life.

Position Summary
The Production Assistant is responsible for assisting in the high-volume, automated manufacturing of bakery products . Working under direct supervision, this role handles everything from raw material staging to automated machinery operation, final packaging, and shipping preparation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-heat production environment, maintaining strict safety, quality, and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to consistently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs throughout long periods of time.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
• High-Heat Endurance: Comfort working and operating equipment in high- temperature environments for extended periods, specifically in close proximity to commercial baking ovens and heavy machinery.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial food production facility is a plus, but not required (entry-level training provided).
• Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn the safe operation of pallet jacks and automated packaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow strict safety protocols and GMP guidelines.
• Reliable team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to take direction from supervisors and the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & safety protocols.
• Assist with general production under a supervisor
• Use pallet jacks to transport pallets of raw ingredients to production lines
• Feed cakes into automated machinery
• Place finished cakes into automated packaging machines
• Stack cases from lines onto pallets
• Operate stretch-wrap machines to secure finished pallets
• Use pallet jacks to safely load finished pallets into shipping trailers.
• Utilize proper material handling equipment when moving heavy items on large racks ensuring sufficient aisle clearance
• Organize and set up station
• Follow sanitation protocol to clean as you go and clean equipment after use
• Assist with packing baked goods to be delivered to store locations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Other duties assigned by the Production Manager
